Lost Boys/Girls of Sudan
The civil war in Sudan has affected many people for the last few years, especially the families with young children and some kids that have walked miles just to find a home. The Civil War started in 1955 to 1972. About 1.9 million civilians were killed in Southern Sudan, also many people were forced to leave the area and their homes.
The War in Darfur
The War in Darfur is the main event that is occurring in Western Sudan. The Sudanese Government, Janjawid, and the military group are starting to recruit more and more every time the have armies prepared. The United Nations, UNICEF, are some of the programs they use to hekp the people in Darfur. Each year they bring thousands of lost boys/girls to the
US and provide them with medical Attention, homes, food, safety etc.
Our oppinon for how our connunity can address to the crisis in Sudan
A way that the International community can address to Crisis in Sudan is that they can help Donate clothes, furniture, homes possibly and other necessities for them to have. Also we can have some immigration for some people and families to come to the U.S and stay out of the war in Sudan. Providing education for school, home, outside of your environment such as manners outside or inside of your home, hygiene and many other need for them to have.
Stategies to Prevent the Crisis to Spread
Some Strategies to prevent the crisis in Sudan to continue in other countries is to I believe no get involved with the war, but to pay attention to the people that need our help. Such as the lost boys and girls that have walked thousands of miles just to find a shelter, food, a place to bathe, and some one to love and care for them, a family. Also we can support some parts of Sudan, and help that part of the country to stop the war. We think as well that we can just stay out of it and stay out of the country's business.

I feed on bitter leaves and roots in the desert.
I stay in rain and hot sun for fear. Are all children in the same condition?
No, a child elsewhere enjoys the calm blue sky
and the love of his parent.
A fox has den and a bird has nest
but the child of war has nowhere to lay his head
for fear of bombs and bullets in southern Sudan. O God lift up this child of war. |

We always cry for help, But we don't apprise the world,
And yet there will be a time when God answer us. --- How unlucky generation Am I.
I brainstorming to manipulate my life,
But I do not commit juvenile delinquence things,
Of course I like elders appealing. --- How unlucky generation Am I.
God himself will assist us, Everything has its own ends.
This suffering of ours is really purgatory
the hostility of this condition make us to
divert behavior and cause patricide.
And we look brutal throughout. --- How unlucky generation Am I.
The eradication of our land will not be constant
but we should endure the bad condition through God,
Avoid profanity to our God.
